Must See: TEPCO Releases Video From Unmanned Helicopter Drones Above Fukushima As Robots Are Finally Used In Restoration Effort

TEPCO released what is the most conclusive video of the devastation at Fukushima. A wake up video for even the most optimistic of individuals.

Just cannot see the situation as resolving with anything but total entombment, which however judging by the urgency in Japan's actions will only be on the agenda...in 2015. In other Fukushima news, the seawater around the reactor has once again seen a surge in radioactivity, that fuel rods have melted through not one, not two, but all three active reactors at Fukushima, but not to panic: all is well as long as these are cooled down, by the same water that will eventually seep into the ocean & into the groundwater considering the cooling system is destroyed beyond repair.

TEPCO itself, following weeks of denials, will not only be nationalized but most likely bankrupted eventually.

The drones probably looked like this.

Real estate agents are known for being some of the most enthusiastic, spirited salespeople in the country.

But now the Los Angeles Police Department is saying they need to curb their latest sales tool:

Drones.

The L.A. Times' Andrew Blankstein reports that the Department has issued a warning to realtors using drones to shoot aerial footage of homes to make sure they abide by federal aviation regulations.

Unmanned aircraft (excepting some model planes) cannot be operated in U.S airspace without specific permission, the Times says.

The drones are slightly different from the Predator aircraft deployed in war zones. These drones have been described as more "spider-like" (which sounds equally frightening). The image above gives a good flavor.

Realtors have been using drones as an alternative to posting terrestrial photos or using a helicopter, according to NBC Los Angeles.

Southern California remains devastated by the housing crash: vacancies actually increased from Q2 to Q3 in 2011 in the Los Angeles and Riverside metro areas.
